Product Code: SG1532
This is a complete set of sterling silver salt spoons that were manufactured in Japan from the early 1930s until the late 1960s. This set is in a wood box with brass hinges and covered with a gray cover. The box is in above average shape considering the age of this item. The spoons have custom tops on each one - including a fan, bucket, lantern, traditional shoe, tea kettle and Buddha. Each spoon measures approximately 8 inches long and they are made to look like Bamboo stems. This is a fine museum-quality original example of Japanese silversmithing.
